After qualifying as a certified chartered accountant and completing his articles from an FTSE 100, Taha worked in the UK, Middle East and South-East Asia. Over the past 15 years, he has led companies through rapid expansion and developed multi-million-dollar start-ups. In 2017, he was awarded the ‘Top Performing CEO’s and Leaders’ prize by the CEO Club. His life-long commitment to learning continues at the University of Cambridge – Judge Business School, completing his Executive MBA, with majors in ‘Entrepreneurship and New Venture Creation’ and ‘Advanced Project Management’.
Taha is a proud father of three kids. In his spare time he volunteers as a Governor at a local Multi-Academy Trust, leading their finance committee and is the appointed Treasurer at the Manchester Governors Association (MGA). He is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Salford. Moreover, he works with platforms like The Start-Up Loan Company, Financing Enterprise, Tech Manchester and others to support start-ups and coach business leaders and entrepreneurs.
Taha runs his own accountancy practice ‘Zamir Accountants’ in Salford Quays, Manchester, helping young entrepreneurs through the early stages of setup and growth.
