Handpicked Accountants is an initiative created by Begbies Traynor Group plc – an AIM-listed professional services consultancy delivering solutions for businesses, financial institutions and professional advisers. We have more than 60 offices across the UK delivering a partner-led service to clients; predominantly company directors.
As we don’t provide accountancy, tax, or auditing services, Begbies has worked with accountants to provide added value to our clients and, reciprocally, we have supported accountants’ clients in times of financial distress through expert advice from our insolvency practitioners.
This commercial synergy was the stimulus for launching Handpicked Accountants and represents an opportunity for Begbies Traynor to refer new business leads back to our accountancy contacts.
Having launched in May 2017, Handpicked Accountants is now a powerful and highly visible accountancy directory in the major search engines receiving more than 10,000 hits per month for localised searches such as ‘accountants in York’ and ‘accountants in Hereford’ for example.
We recognise that the modern day culture of acquiring advice is now predominantly web-driven and the demand for accountancy services online is only going to increase – and Handpicked Accountants is perfectly positioned to service these enquiries by passing on leads to our recommended database of accountancy firms across the UK.
