What is my Corporation Tax deadline?

What is my Corporation Tax deadline?

The deadline for paying corporation tax and filing your corporation tax return is generally 9 months and 1 day after the end of the accounting period - though there are special rules for companies with taxable profits over £1.5m. Late submission or payment will incur financial penalties - even missing the filing deadline by one day could result in a penalty of £100. Although company directors are ultimately responsible for the accuracy of their company’s accounts and tax return, it is advisable to seek assistance from a qualified accountant.
